A wonderful goal hat trick scored by forward Oshani Iroshika Peiris
helped Sri Lanka to easily defeat Bhutan by 5-1 goals in the opening
match of the AFC Under 14 Girls Regional Championships 2013 -South and
Central worked off CR and FC grounds yesterday.
The lass from Lumbini Vidyalaya , Colombo ,Oshani Iroshika netted her
first goal in the 4th minute and repeated the same in the 21st and in
the very next second. Six minutes later T Sherring of Bhutan scored
their only goal. It did not take long for forward Dilshani Imesha to
boot another goal for Sri Lanka. At half time the hosts led 4-1.
In the second half mid fielder Maneesha Sakilanki added another goal
for Sri Lanka to seal it at 5-1. Sri Lanka takes on Iran at 9.30 am at
the same venue today.
