Rita House athletic champions

Rita House became champions at the Inter-house sportsmeet of Hemamali Girls College, Kandy held at the Bogambara Stadium Kandy on Friday.

St. Ritas House collected 295 points and in second place was Philomena House with 246 points. In third place was St. Scholasticas House with 233 points and finishing fourth was St. Euphrasia House with 193 points.

The Chief Guest of the occasion was Mayor of Kandy Mahendra Ratwatte.

The schools invitation relay for girls was won by St. Anthony’s Girls College with Pushpadana Girls College as runnerup.

The invitation relay for boys was won by St. Sylvestor’s College with Dharmaraja College in second place.

Under 13: D.D Dharmendara (St. Scholasticas House).

Under 15: Joint champions: N. Fernando (St. Ritas House) and C.A. Premadasa (Philomena House).

Under 17: Sanjula Rajamanthri (St. Ritas House)
Under 19: Thalanshani Weerawickrema (St. Ritas House)
Under 21: Nilupani Dhanethra (St. Euphrasia House)

Under 11: Joint champion N.J.S.R. Bandara (St. Philomena House) and Pramudhika Dulani (Euphrasia House)
