CONFEDERACY OF DUNDERHEADS

Guess who went for the Global Tamil Forum annual sessions in London? The Who's Who included David Miliband, and that consummate Norwegian performer, the ever perky yet unerringly embarrassing Mr. Erik Solheim.

Having been in obscurity for some time now, mostly because he does not have Sri Lanka to kick around anymore, Solheim totally outperformed any previous avatar of himself on this occasion at the GTF, in the midst of sundry terrorists and assorted diaspora losers.

Said Solheim that Sri Lanka's war crimes are so horrendous that they can be classed as 'the worst in the 21st century.'

However, if certain types of governments come back to power, that will not stop them from believing that Solheim is a honest peace broker. There is no war of course for him to try and 'sort out' in his 'impartial manner' but that will not stop Solheim proclaiming himself to be some kind of go-between on behalf of the diaspora, and it will also not stop the gullible from believing that he still is non-partisan and forthright.

That is exactly how Solheim, Tamil Forum terrorist lover, did his impresario job when he was, Viceroy like, trying to preside over the fate of Sri Lanka, all the way from his icy cold and relatively nondescript country.

Those Ranil Wickremesinghe followers who said those days that Solheim was not a Tamil-Tiger lover but a genuine peace dove should now eat a mandatory quantity of crow after Solheim's latest statement that Sri Lanka's war crimes are horrendous, and are possibly the worst in the 21st century.

It shows that this man is an almost exact clone of Anton Balasingham, that odd and odious ideologue, who tried his best to feed the world with the type of lies that Solheim is feeding the media now from the GTF forum.

Most of the GTF hierarchy such as Rudrakumaran the comic self-appointed 'Premieir' and legal advisor to the LTTE, are blacklisted in Colombo and will never be able to touch down in this country, and rightly so, given that a person who was a finical advisor to a terrorist group has to be classified as a terrorist himself.

The credibility of David Miliband the former Foreign Secretary certainly nosedives even further with his fraternizing with this vermin, who had a hosanna sung to them recently in a local newspaper by a local spokesperson-hopeful, Kumar David.

Who does Kumar David repose his faith in? Rudrakumaran, a legal advisor and negotiator for the LTTE, which David (not Miliband, but the other David) himself, after the end of hostilities in 2009, now refers to as the dark face of the Tamil liberation 'struggle' or in some such pejorative terms.

There is also within its fold Fr. Emmanuel, the warmonger and rabble rouser in a cloth, who will be remembered as long as he lives as the certifiable lunatic who compared that arch fascist Velupillai Prabhkaran to Jesus Christ!

Those whom the gods destroy they first make mad, they say, and the steady decline, and the hysterical pronouncements now of Erik Solheim are a kind of an early dirge for the GTF, the umbrella organization for Tamil Tiger rump desperados.

Solheim's participation and his pronouncements however, are a further sign that if certain opposition types come to power, they will hold sway again in this country, and in their Viceregal manner, attempt to 'negotiate' for a Tamil Eelam, now that the option for obtaining Eelam through force of arms is foreclosed till the end of time.

That there are some elements of the British political establishment giving the thumbs up for this bunch or outright terrorists and terrorist sympathizers does not come as a surprise, given the conduct of the Miliband types -- but should serve as a signal for all countries that vote in Geneva, that do not want their nations overrun by the extinguished Empire. Some Britishers still have delusions of being the colonial power. Thankfully, David Miliband is not a powerful entity in Britain anymore, which is probably why he has no option but to disport himself with this motley crew of jokers and merchants of malice.
