Colonial motor opens service centre at Battaramulla

Colonial Motors Limited, with a lengthy history and tradition in the distribution and selling of motor vehicles in Sri Lanka has, for the convenience of Mazda customers, commissioned an ultramodern workshop at Nagahamulla, Battaramulla.

With the appointment of Colonial Motors Ceylon Limited as the new agent for Mazda vehicles in Sri Lanka and the Republic of Maldives, the company has launched a new service centre complete with the latest German technology. The Managing Director of Colonial Motors Ceylon Limited, Mohan Ratnayake, who was instrumental in negotiating the Mazda agency, announced that two very special models of Mazda vehicles, the Mazda CX5 and the 2014 Mazda 6, equipped with hitherto unseen, powerful, economical and fuel efficient SKYACTIVE technology, has been introduced to the Sri Lankan vehicle market.

Colonial Motors is the first company in Asia to import the new 2014 Mazda 6 with SKYACTIVE technology. The car can now be seen in the showroom at Union Place.

The ultramodern facilities provided to all Mazda customer requirements include a continuous, unbroken supply of genuine Mazda spare parts at the newly opened Mazda Service Centre at Nagahamulla, Battaramulla. This facility established at a cost of over Rs. 150 million, includes all the modern service equipment imported fro Japan and Germany. All aspects of vehicle servicing are carried out under the supervision of staff trained in compliance with Japanese technology. The use of ultramodern electronic diagnostic tools for troubleshooting in vehicles is available for Mazda customers and provides a high service level.

The centre is located in a pleasing environment and the building itself provides all comforts and conveniences in today's context. Taking its' responsibility towards the environment very seriously, the service centre has a water recycling and purification plant with German technology and the facility also has a sound proof Body Shop for accidental repairs. The centre also has a fully computerized paint booth with paint baking facilities which will ensure high quality paint applications for all vehicles.

The newest Mazda showroom is scheduled to be opened on the Colombo - Negombo Road at Peliyagoda and will also have an outlet for genuine spare parts for the convenience of Mazda customers.
