Sangakkara to address SLIM Bucks MBA Inner Circle Forum Today
Former Sri Lankan skipper and star batsman Kumar Sangakkara will
address the second Inner Circle Forum of the SLIM Bucks MBA Alumni on
today from 6.30 pm onwards at the Hilton Colombo Residence. Sangakkara
will speak on a “hands-on approach to leadership” sharing his knowledge
of not just leading in cricket, but also of his vast experience acquired
as an ambassador and activist on diverse areas such as equality and
children’s rights, poverty alleviation, human trafficking,and tolerance
to HIV/AIDS.
Sangakkara is hailed for being a true leader and an ambassador who
provides a positive influence and inspiration to Sri Lankans from all
walks of life.
Speaking of the event, President of SLIM, Tilan Wijeyesekera said,
“The SLIM Bucks Alumni consists of Bucks MBA graduates representing
different fields of business in Sri Lanka. Through events such as the
Inner Circle Forum, we intend to provide our graduates as well as
students and the business fraternity in Sri Lanka continuous knowledge
sharing and networking opportunities.
As part of SLIM’s mandate as the national body of marketing to add
value to the nation’s marketers and business fraternity, I am certain
that this Forum will offer great insights on leadership from a true
leader, respected and loved both locally and internationally”.
