Windies women clinch one day series

West Indies bowling and fielding helped them to a series win against Sri Lanka with a 33-run victory in the third ODI in Dambulla. After they managed to score only 191 for 9 in their 50 overs, West Indies defended their modest target led by Tremayne Smartt's figures of 2 for 26 from her 10 overs and four run-outs.

Cambrians fight back to force a draw

Trinity College held Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa to a draw in their schools under 19 cricket tournament match concluded at the Asgiriya Stadium, Kandy yesterday. Trintians were set a victory target of 167 in 44 overs and they made 130 for 8. It was the early loss of wickets when they were 65 for 5 which compelled them to put up the shutters.
