Visakha Vidyalaya: Primary Sports Meet

Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo held their primary sport meet at the college grounds yesterday.

The annual sports meet was conducted by the Head of the Primary Education, Muditha Madanayake under the guidance of Principal Sandamali Aviruppola. An old girl of the school, Attorney at Law Keerthimali Gunasekara graced the occasion as the chief guest yesterday.

"Being the country's leading girls' school, our school has produced a number of sports personalities in the history.

It is compulsory to students involving in sports from the primary section and I hope these pupils will bring honour to the country in the future," Principal Sandamali Aviruppola said.

Some spectacular games, involving parents and the teaching staff, added more colour to the sports meet.
