Two magnificent Centuries by Madava Nimesh 110 runs which included
fourteen fours and two sixes facing 162 balls and occupying the crease
for 180 minutes and an unbeaten 103 runs by Akila Lakshan which
consisted of seven hits to the rope and one over, facing 125 balls and
associating a third wicket partnership of 168 runs enable Royal College,
Panadura to pile up 318 for 9 declared and register their fifth first
innings win when they beat Lumbini Vidyalaya by 143 runs in their
inter-school under 19 cricket match played at Panadura. In reply Lumbini
were all out for 175 runs with Dammika Derana Scoring 52 runs and
following on when bad light stopped play at 4 pm. Lumbini were reeling
at 96 for 7.
