Prince Of Wales College beat Rahula College Matara on Parabola System
and entered into the quarter-finals of the inter-school under 13
division three cricket tournament and the match was played at Moratuwa.
Batting first Cambrians scored 235 for 6 in their allotted fifty
overs with Mohomed Fahad scoring an unbeaten 44 runs Mihiru Nisal took 2
for 58 for the visitors.
In reply Rahula College wee 158 for 8 in 38.2 overs when bad light
stopped play Gimhan Jayaweera top scored for the visitors with 64 while
Anjana Subash and Induruwa de Alwis claimed 3 for 31 and 2 for 31
respectively.
