One year back, Laurian began Zumba Fitness classes to help people be
fit and exercise with their busy lifestyle and schedule.
It is after this that Laurian came up with the Zumba For Charity (ZFC)
project to help the less fortunate elders and children by educating the
public through the Zumba Fitness workshops and good health in general.
With the support of his students the first ZFC was held in November
2012. The second show was held in a bigger magnitude on February 2 at
the Women's International Hall where all proceeds from ZFC II was handed
over to the AMI Tsunami Children's Home in Dunagaha, Negombo on February
10.
E FM came forward to back Laurian's idea by becoming the Media
Sponsor for the event.
At the moment they are working on the Zumba For Charity III which is
schedule for June 8. If there is anyone who would like to help in many
with this charity programme please contact Laurian on [email protected]. |
