speaking to Daily News Business said the main reason for them to enter
Sri Lankan was to cater to Lankan companies that were planning to
commence businesses in India and Myanmar.
"With the war ending and the healthy economy Sri Lankan is enjoying
we have observed that there are several Lankan companies opening doors
in both these countries. We have a strong presence in both these
countries and could serve as the 'bridge' to those interested in
starting a business," he said.
He said that they could undertake to iron out red tape and would also
look at the security aspects before the investment was done. Having
served in the Indian Peace Keeping Force in Sri Lanka he said that their
company could also help Sri Lankan companies to expend their businesses
in India.
He observed that most of the Sri Lankan companies that they have
studied were spending too much on security and still there were loop
holes that should be addressed.
