Arrested while digging for artifacts

Seven suspects were arrested by the Teldeniya Police while they were digging for treasure in a land in Kumbukkandura, Teldeniya.

Police have contacted the Archaeological Department to ascertain the historical significance of the location where the suspects were arrested. They were produced before Teldeniya magistrate yesterday.
