EPSON kick starts nSolution Programme in Sri Lanka

Epson, a world leader in digital imaging and printing solutions and the top projector maker of the decade is strengthening its association with its partners with the launch of its nSolutions Programme 2012 held in Colombo on February 7, 2013.

Epson's nSolution Partner Engagement Programme targeting System Integrators / Corporate Resellers and Office Automation Partners was attended by a large number of System Integrators (SI's) and a few of Epson's key corporate clients as well. Epson is aiming to reach out to a sizeable number of current and potential partners through the 2013 nSolution event held in Colombo.

This programme is aimed at empowering and educating System Integrators / Corporate Resellers and Office Automation Partners on the benefits that their customers stand to gain by using Epson products and solutions. Epson is also looking at training its partners on the new technological developments with interesting insights on current industry trends. To help partners strengthen their market knowledge, the full day walk-in event has a fantastic product display/demo highlighting the applications of Epson products. In addition, Epson's Senior Management also presented the background and future road map of the company to interested partners.

"We recognize the value partners bring to the table and we are excited to see them enhance their expertise to support the needs of our customers.

We have been actively engaging with the System Integrator community and through this nSolution programme we aim to take our relationship with partners to the next level.

We look forward to strengthening our engagement and thereby delivering the best solutions to our customers.

We hope that today's initiative will help partners to understand and address customer requirements and the value that Epson products and solutions provide.

We also anticipate continuous support for our partners and aim to nurture their talents and skill, which will in return be imperative for the growth of the Company." S. M. Ram Prasad, Deputy General Manager, Consumer Products at Epson India the Regional Headquarters for the Sub-Continent said

At the meet Epson informed its partners that it has grown by 23% last year in Sri Lanka and has closed the FY 2011-12 with a turnover of US $ 6.38 million. In addition, the company now has a market share of 28.5% for Inkjet printers and All-In-Ones (No. 2 in Sri Lanka), 35% for projectors (No. 1 in Sri Lanka), 95% for Dot Matrix Printers (No. 1 inSri Lanka) and 80% for Point of Sale/Billing Printers(No. 1 in Sri Lanka). Sri Lanka being a priority market, Epson is looking at increasing its market share in education, banking, finance, insurance industry and the pharmaceutical sector along with SOHO segments this fiscal.

The company also spoke about entering a few new segments and expanding the product portfolio. Portable label printing, wearable imaging devices, short run label printing and textile printing are some of the exciting areas Epson will be getting into.
