They had a mixture of whiskey and cannabis

Gonahena Police Special Task Force camp yesterday arrested two persons with cannabis and whiskey worth Rs 7,500,000 in their possession.

The STF arrested one suspect from Kurusa Watta in Ja ela and the other from Kotahena.

The suspect arrested at Kurusa Watta in Ja ela possessed 13.5 kg of cannabis. The haul of cannabis was valued at Rs 6,200,000. He is a resident at Kurusa Watta Ja ela.

The suspect arrested at Vidyala Mawatha, Kotahena, Colombo 13, had 44 bottles of Black Label whiskey worth Rs 132,000 in his possession.

He is a resident of Pitarathmale, Haputale.

The suspects were arrested by the STF led by SI Kulathunga under the supervision of IP Priyantha Kumara.
