The mobile showroom, which arrives in the form of an 18.5 foot truck,
will showcase the entire Panasonic range of products and services, with
its availability for the public to purchase. In addition, the showroom
will carry out live demonstrations of the products on offer, giving
customers the option to experience the products before purchasing.
"We always think of ways to stay closer to our customers and this
concept, the first of its kind in the country, is one such way. We would
be dispatching a truck, which will travel round the country with the
product range and help us determine its progress with the public," Sato,
Deputy Managing Director, Panasonic Consumer Marketing, Asia Pacific
said at the launch.
Distinct segments in the truck will be attributed in the truck,
displaying product types ranging from a cookery section. The high end
products will feature 3D TV's, 3D Blue Ray players, home theatre systems
and audio systems. The home supply section will showcase the entire
Panasonic range of Irons, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, air
conditioners and refrigerators while a beauty care section would
showcase a broad range of hair dryers, home showers, hair stylers,
epilators, hair irons, electric shavers and electric brushes.
The mobile showroom will accommodate ssales assistants and
technicians with an indepth knowledge of the products offered, to help
customers with any inquiries they need regarding the products and its
features. At present there are 150 Panasonic showrooms in Sri Lanka and
hopes in expanding it to 200 by March 2013.
