Unidentified man’s body exhumed

The body of an unidentified person buried in a gravel pit in a coconut estate at Ethiliyadalawewa, Kalatuwagama in the Wellawa Police area was exhumed on a court order by the Wellawa Police on Sunday evening.

The body was exhumed before Kurunegala Additional Magistrate P M K Bandara following a tip off received by the Police.According to the Police the body was wrapped in a bed sheet.

Police suspect the death to be a murder.
