Geethika steers Bens for an innings win

A match bag of 10 for 83 by Geethika Jayathilleke enabled St Benedicts College, Kotahena to beat Moratu Vidyalaya by innings and 41 runs in their inter-school Under-19 cricket match worked off at Kotahena.

Resuming at 65 for 4 in reply to Bens score of 274 for 7. Vidyalians were all out for 131 runs with Kanishka Prabath making the top score of an unbeaten 37 runs.

Nirmal Soysa too captured 4 for 19 and following on Vidyalians were skittles out for a Paltry 102 runs and Dushan Sulakshana scored 28 runs. Nirmal Soysa claimed 3 for 28 to make his tally in the match to 7 for 47 runs.
