Navy Commander Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage visited the SLN site
at the Deyata Kirula Exhibition in Ampara, recently.

He reviewed the progress of the SLN site construction and related
arrangements. The Navy exhibition stall at the mega event will depict
the activities of the Sri Lanka Navy and display exhibits showing SLN's
capabilities and achievements.
Vice Admiral Colombage also visited the South-eastern Naval
Headquarters in Panama and addressed the ship's complement there.
He appreciated the contribution rendered by the naval personnel for
the infrastructure development and the smooth functioning of the Naval
administration.
He also emphasized the need for continuous professional development
and safeguarding of the dignity and decorum of the service at all times.
Elaborating on the multitude of welfare measures implemented, the Navy
Commander requested all Naval personnel to utilize the facilities for
the benefit of their families and the education of their children, who
will be the future of peaceful Sri Lanka. |
