UA empowers sales staff with laptops and tabs
Union Assurance (UA) recently launched a programme to empower a
further 1000 sales staff with laptop devices in an effort to strengthen
its distribution efficiency. The company hopes to present laptops to its
complete sales force in the future. Providing convenient insurance
solutions for potential as well as existing customers is the company's
focus and improving communications between insurance advisors in the
field, customers and the organization. By empowering the sales force on
the field, the company also hopes to reinforce its promise of
transparent insurance solutions.

"The laptops allow secure access to the Union Assurance intranet
while allowing our advisors to superior, speedy services with greater
transparency. Online customer relationship management systems and email
will also keep the sales force up-to-date with technologically advanced
servicing possibilities," said Niyas, Assistant General Manager, Sales
Force Administration and Planning.
The laptops will assist all insurance advisers of Union Assurance to
share information on products and services instantly, track premium
payments, obtain information on customer policies. It will also assist
the advisors to build and strengthen customer relationships while in the
field.
Union Assurance recently introduced the Digital Advisor Toolkit
(DAT), a tri-lingual application compatible for both laptops and tablet
phones. It was developed to assist the field force of UA who are now
able to utilize DAT to propose different insurance solutions and covers
to their valued customers. Advisors are also able to email the PDF
version of the quotation to the customer with all required information
which includes the plan details, illustrations, Financial Need Analysis
(FNA) and the quotation.
