It will attract business people, traders, entrepreneurs and the general public of the Northern peninsula, with the primary incentive of assisting business units of various industries to gain more spectrum in achieving potential for future investments.

The trade fair is expected to hold stalls from both, local and international entities. The fair was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka, Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Jaffna, the Consulate General of India in Jaffna, Jaffna Municipal Council and Sri Lanka Convention Bureau.

This has been long considered and a re-awakening point for the Northern region, particularly after the end of the three decades war. Last years fair was considered a major success, with over 50,000 keen visitors attending the event and such an event in the northern part of the country is a great opportunity to observe the various developing facets of industries, acquire business contacts, invite potential investors and stakeholders and customers.
