Eheliyagoda PS budget passed

The Eheliyagoda Pradeshiya Sabha budget for 2013 was passed at a special meeting held at the PS auditorium recently.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman, Sarath Sandanayake. PS Member Thilak Rohana Jayawickrema proposed the motion and PS Member Asoka Gunaratne seconded it.

Both of them are of the ruling party.

Chairman Sarath Sandanayake said that it is hoped to solve several burning problems prevailing in the Eheliyagoda town and that a sufficient amount of expenditure has been made for the purpose.

At this special meeting, PS member R. Dhanaratne (UPFA) held a protest move by lying down on the floor of the auditorium saying that the Chairman has not supplied him a sufficient number of street light bulbs.
