Sports equipment distributed to clubs in Beruwala
A ceremony to distribute sports equipment for eleven sports clubs in
the Beruwala Divisional Secretariat division was held recently at the
Naleem Hadjiar playground at Beruwala recently.

In addition a one-day workshop for football players in Beruwala was
also held on the same day.
One hundred and twenty football players took part in this workshop
which was conducted by foreign coaches.
The donation of sports equipment and conducting of the workshop was
done on the initiative of Western Provincial Councillor and SLFP
organiser for Kalutara District Organiser M M M Amjard who allocated Rs
150,000 from the Decentralised Budget.
Western Provincial Councillor Piyal Nishantha de Silva, President of
Beruwala Football League M M Paslan and Secretary M M Sinnan were also
present. |
