The annual general meeting of the Central Province Rugby Referees Society will be held at the Auditorium of Kandy Sports Club today at 10 am.

The Central Province Rugby Referees Society which is affiliated to the Sri Lanka Rugby Referees Society has been doing a good job in officiating in school matches in the Central Province.

Further most of its members are members of the parent society with its President Aruna Rankothge in the Asian Panel.

Some of the members do not restrict themselves to blowing the whistle. They also coach schools especially in the lesser know areas so that the game could spread.

Aruna Rankothge is expected to retain the post of President and Gerald Rasiah is tipped to become the Secretary without a contest.

A few minor changes is also expected to be made to the constitution in keeping with the times.
