Tharushan shatters Lumbini batting line-up

Left arm leg spinner Tharushan Iddamalgoda of Lumbini Vidyalya, Colombo, ripped through the formidable batting line of St. Sylvester’s College Kandy with a fine spell of bowling with 5 for 21 in their inter school under 19 tournament cricket match worked off at BRC grounds, Colombo.

Visitors taking the first lease were all our for a paltry 123 runs and Sumedha Dissanayake top scored with 38 runs. Only seventy overs was possible for the day due to bad light and at the end of day one Lumbini were 2 for 1.
