The girlfriend of the suspect in the Golumadama, Ratmalana triple
murder case said she was not aware that he was a married man. The Police
interrogated the woman on Thursday.
The woman aged 21 is a teacher at an international school in Negombo
and a resident of Marawila, the Police said. The woman told the Police
she met the suspect at an information technology firm in Colombo. She
said they were planning to get married and the suspect had told her that
he was a bachelor. The suspect was remanded until January 1 by Mount
Lavinia Magistrate Nirosha Fernando. |
