O-L paper leakage: two remanded

Two suspects were remanded over the alleged leakage of questions in a science paper at the GCE (Ordinary Level) examination, the Police Media Spokesman’s Office said yesterday. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested a tuition master in Gampaha and an accomplice in connection with the incident. The two men produced in court, were remanded until December 28, the Police said.

The CID commenced investigations after it came to light that the tuition master had given his students a model paper containing 19 questions that appeared similar to the ones in the 2012 OL science paper.
