SF's INVITATION TO CJ: CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG

In a wide ranging sampling of opinion, Daily News was able to ascertain that many people think that Mr. Sarath Fonseka's invitation to Mrs Shirani Bandaranayayake Chief Justice to join him in politics, is a case of naked political opportunism. Most described the move as symptomatic of the bankruptcy of various political outfits desperately looking for some opening to kick start their political activities.

Many averred that the cat is out of the bag, considering that Sarath Fonseka has sought to invite an independent judicial officer who is supposed to be above the fray, to join him in a political role.
