Manju in National final once again

Former Asian Games and Commonwealth Games boxer Manju Wanniarachchi
won his bout with ease to reach the finds of the Bantam Weight 56
kilogramme on the fourth day of the National Boxing Championship
organized by the Amateur Boxing Association of Sri Lanka and sponsored
by MAS Holdings and worked off at the Linea Clothing gymnasium at BOI,
Pallekele last night.

Manju Wanniarachchi met the current National Champion Gayan Jayaweera
in what turned out to be a neo contest with Jayaweera retiring early in
the second.
The finals will be worked at the Kandy City Centre Roof Top
commencing at 2 p.m. The Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage
will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
