Kalapooshana award for Lake House photographer

The 75-year-old Lake House photographer of Jaffna Kambar Kathiravelu has been awarded with the Kalapooshana award. Though old he is active in his profession and has been awarded several awards by Cultural and Literary organisations.

Sixty Tamil artistes in music, drama, literature, dance, hindu civilisation, Tamil culture and photography have been awarded “Kalapooshana” awards by the Cultural Affairs Ministry.
