McLarens shuttlers seize Mercantile Inter-firm 'A' Division team
title
McLarens Group of Companies came out with flying colors winning the
Men's 'A' Division Team Badminton title at the recently concluded
Mercantile Badminton Championships organized by the Mercantile Badminton
Association.

McLarens Group, led by Navin Perera, included Sri Lanka'a ace
shuttler Niluka Karunaratne, Louvie Karunaratne and Nimika Edirisooriya.
In the 'A' Division final they managed to defeat Sampath Bank while
the second runner up position was taken by Hatton National Bank.
Ladies from the McLarens Group showed their prowess by clinching the
first runner up position in the Women's 'D' division. McLarens Group
playing in the Men's 'E' Division too performed well to win the bronze
medal.
