Suzuki Maruti Alto a new chapter in 'Budget Taxi'

Marking a new chapter in the local taxi service, 'Budget Taxi', Sri
Lanka's premier taxi service provider has selected Suzuki Maruti Alto to
enhance its fleets with a new fleet of cars.

Budget Taxi has entered into a strategic partnership with Associated
Motorways (Pvt) Ltd to purchase Suzuki Maruti Alto to provide a total
transport service to the local market recently.
Budget Taxi Managing Director, Kelum Jayasumana speaking to Daily
News Business said that the company has decided to purchase almost 500
Alto cars to provide the public with a higher standard of travelling,
safety and comfort, specially catering to the growing expectations of
customers and rapid expansion demand from the tourism sector.
The Budget Taxi service is currently confined to the city of Colombo
and it is expected to expand it services to Galle and Kandy, as well
Jayasumana said.
Suzuki Maruti Alto is considered to be the highest selling small car
with over two million units sold worldwide and has become popular due to
the continuous improvements to its models and upgraded features.
Suzuki Maruti has seen a heavy demand in Sri Lanka due to special
features such as good fuel efficiency, a fair price, excellent after
sales service and ready availability of spares and other added features.
Under AMW, Suzuki Maruti brand has grown to be Sri Lanka's most
popular model and has seen unbroken growth in the past years. |
