Police arrest stone-pelting youth

Two private buses plying from Colombo to Jaffna have been pelted with stones between Puttalam and Anuradhapura by unknown persons. The glass windows of the bus had been damaged.

A stone aimed at the driver of the bus had missed the mark and alighted on the window screen. No one was hurt. The driver of the bus phoned the police and within half an hour the police arrived and started investigation. They had arrested a youth at the tea boutique as suspect.
