Woman's gold necklace stolen

A man stole a gold necklace worn by a 68-year-old woman from her home garden in Alugolla, Badulla and fled. The necklace was stolen when she came out of her house to let lose the dog from the cage.

The thief had grabbed the woman's necklace and disappeared.

The thief had his face covered. The woman lodged a complaint with Badulla Police. Investigations are continuing.
