Ugandan investors keen to start business here

Ugandan entrepreneurs of are keen on investing in Sri Lanka, Ugandan
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni said. President Museveni was addressing
media yesterday in Colombo.
He said, following his state visit to Sri Lanka several MoUs were
signed between the two countries. Ugandan investors will commence
business entities in Sri Lanka in future especially in the fields of
agriculture processing, energy and information technology.
The Ugandan President stated that, it is significant that the
terrorism has been wiped out under the guidance of President Mahinda
Rajapaksa.
President Museveni highlighted the cordial ties between the two
countries and the necessity to further strengthening the close ties
between the two countries.
He further said that there should be a cordial linkage and solidarity
between Africa, Asia, South America and South Asian regions. President
Museveni appreciated the services rendered by the Sri Lankan President
to build a vocational training centre at a cost of US $1.5 million.
