Navy Commander Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage visited Pakistan from
November 6 to 11 on the invitation of Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan,
Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila.
The Navy Commander held discussions on matters of mutual interests
and bilateral importance with Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila and
officials.
He also called on COM PAK, Vice Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah at PNTS,
Commander Destroyer Squadron and Commander Karachchi, Rear Admiral
Khawaja Ghazanfar Hussain at the PNA Bahadur.
The Navy Commander and Sri Lanka Navy Seva Vanitha Unit President
Srima Colombage also attended a dinner hosted by Governor of Sindh at
the Governor’s House.The visit strengthened relations between Sri Lanka
and Pakistan which maintain close, cordial and mutually supportive
relations in a number of fields.
The Pakistan Navy offers advanced and specialized training to Sri
