Maduranga becomes BAC accredited umpire

PSD Sub Inspector Kasun Maduranga has been selected as an Accredited Umpire by the Badminton Asia Confederation.

He has performed well when he represented Sri Lanka at the Asian Youth Badminton Championship 2012 Tournament held in Donguan, China in October 2012.

Maduranga, a past student of Ambalangoda Kularathna Vidyalaya, took to badminton during his schooldays and now serves as the vice president of the Southern Province Badminton Association. He also functions as a sub inspector in the President's Security Division.
