Grant Advertising clinch CRICADS 2012

The Derana-organised inter advertising agency six a side soft ball cricket tournament “CRICADS 2012” was won by Grant Advertising ( Pvt ) Ltd beating Leo Burnett in the finals.

The tournament was held recently at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium (the Oval ). Leo Burnett batting first scored 89 for 5 wickets in their allotted 5 overs. In reply, Grant Advertising reached the target in 4.5 overs.

CRICADS 2011 is a the leading Cricket tournament for Advertising agencies and was organized for the third consecutive year by TV Derana together with FM Derana and Derana Macro Entertainment.

This year the Cricket tournament was organized under the theme “Cricket Rastafarian Style”. A total of 24 teams took part in the competition.

In the first semi finals Grant Advertising beat Sarva Integrated and in the second semi final Leo Burnett beat Trad Lanka.

The player of the final received a brand new LED Television and the player of the tournament received a brand new Honda motor bike courtesy of Stafford Motors.

Apart from Cricket there was a host of other fun games and competitions that entertained the crowd.
