Mahanama beat Lumbini

Mahanama College, Colombo beat Lumbini Vidyalaya Colombo in the semi-finals of the division one inter-school under 15 cricket tournament match conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and played at Colts Cricket grounds, Colombo.

Mahanama electing to bat were all out for 136 runs and Sundries being the highest score with 39 runs.

Ishara Rashmika contributed 32 runs and Thanuka Dabare was the pick of the bowlers for Lumbini with 3 for 26.

In reply Lumbini were all out for 122 runs with Skipper Mohomed Akram making the top score of 53 runs. Vimukthi Ayesh claimed 3 for 16 for the winners.

Mahanama – 136 in 49.2 overs - Ishara Rashmika 32, Banuka Priyamantha 23, Mohomed Akram 2/25, Thannuka Dabare 3/26.

Lumbini 122 in 39.4 overs - Mohomed Akram 53, Satchith Cryshantha 18 n/o, Shan Peiris 2/5, Vimukthi Ayesh 3/16, Banuka Priyamantha 2/22.
