Traditions that goes along with Christmas
This October 10 was a day that Ramada Colombo celebrated one of their
traditions that were carried out during the Christmas season for a long
time. The tradition of mixing the ingredients that are needed for the
‘Christmas cake’ is a ritual that takes centre stage at Ramada when the
season of Christmas nears.

Representing the Chef department of Ramada Colombo, Executive Chef
Nalin Amendra, Pastry Chef Asela Watawala and Senior Sous Chef
Dharmapriya prepared the required setting and needed ingredients for the
occasion. Chef Nalin and Chef Asela stated that quality ingredients
which are rich in taste were used for this occasion.
This event was graced by the presence of Ramada Colombo Chairman
Falmy J Carder, Director General Manager Imithiaz J Carder, Director
Operations M Shanthi Kumar, other heads of departments and executives of
Ramada Colombo.
Christmas goodies for this season includes a mixture of delicious
cake made available at the ‘Cookie Hut’ food outlet and at Ramada’s fast
food outlet ‘Tempting’ from the beginning of December. |
