Cabinet approval granted to Kirulapone housing complex

The cabinet approval has been granted for the construction of Kirulapone, Mihindupura Janasewana housing complex, Construction

Engineering Services Housing and Common Amenities Ministry sources said.

The cabinet paper was submitted to the cabinet by Construction Engineering Services Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa.

The construction of housing complex will commence immediately. The housing complex will consist of two adjacent 24 floor apartment buildings. There are two types of houses (650 square feet and 850 square feet) in this housing complex and it is consisting 560 houses. The housing complex will also be consist of a car park, children's garden, playground, conference hall, swimming pool, etc. Under the guidance of Minister Wimal Weerawansa, the National Housing Development Authority will build this housing complex at the cost of Rs. 6,699 million.

All constructions will be done by the State Engineering Corporation and it is estimated to complete constructions within three years.
