Successful completion of AATP

As a continuous training programme the second course of the Children's Advanced Adventure Training Programme (AATP) for the academic year 2011/2012 was held recently.

The fifth batch of students from Lyceum International School (LIS) Wattala successfully completed the advanced outdoor based leadership and adventure training course. The training course was conducted by the Sri Lanka Outdoor Adventure School (SLOAS) and was held at the National Scout Training Centre (NSIC) Pedro in Nuwara Eliya.

This programme was started by LIS Wattala from the year 2010 to develop and enhance the students' abilities of team building, planning skills, resource management, decision-making, leadership and time management skills. This training programme provided a great exposure for all students at LIS Wattala.
