Sanath takes a hat-trick

A fine all-round performance by Sanath Dassanayake (5 for 14, including a hat trick and 50 runs) helped Ananda to beat Isipathana on the first innings in their under-13 cricket match played at Ananda Mawatha recently.

Ananda batting first were aided by a fine 101 off 95 balls with 15 fours and a six by Dushan Hettige scored 184 for 4 in 36.4 overs. In reply Wesley were struggling at 129 for 9 at close. Chamal Nimesh top scored for Wesley with 89 n.o, which contained 15 fours.
