“The Commonwealth Business Forum to be held in Colombo in November
2013 will attract more foreign investments and acquire opportunities
from all across the globe for Sri Lankan businesses,” said Commonwealth
Business Council Chairman Mohan Kaul.
“Commonwealth Business Forum is the biggest event in the Commonwealth
calendar and this forum will be the largest gathering of foreign
investors ever held in Sri Lanka. The forum has evolved over the last 15
years, recognizing its role to help grow trade and investment in various
countries. We will set how much investment is expected to be attracted
to Sri Lanka in the coming months. We are delighted to inform that Sri
Lanka has embarked on a comprehensive programme for economic and social
development. Sri Lanka is back in business and the private sector now
has the opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing its overall
business activities in the country. I believe, the Commonwealth Business
Forum 2013, will be a wonderful event that delivers maximum results to
Sri Lanka and Commonwealth as a whole,” said Kaul.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa launched the campaign for the 2013
