“Drive for Elders and Children 2012”,
a vintage vehicle parade organized by Vintage Car
Owners’ Club was held in Colombo. The parade which commenced
from the SSC grounds
ended at the Taj Samudra Hotel. ANCL was the print media
sponsor of the event. Here

| The Australian Women’s T20 team
conducted a brief coaching clinic and played a friendly
match with children from the Ceylon School for the Deaf and
Blind. Around 300 children met members of the team. The
event was jointly organised by the Ceylon School for Deaf
and Blind and the Australian High Commission in Colombo.
Australian team captain Jodie Fields welcomed the
opportunity given to train and meet local children. |
