"The SriLankan Golf Classic has been one of our most successful events in the past, attended by many international golfers and we are excited to relaunch it. By hosting and sponsoring events such as this, which attract large numbers of tourists and promote the country as a sports tourism destination, we hope to contribute to the national goal of increasing tourism," said SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena.

The Golf Classic will commence with a practice session on day one and conclude with an awards ceremony, followed by a gala dinner for golfers and their families.

The event combines golf with some amazing tour packages in Sri Lanka. Golfers and their families can enjoy a holiday in a tropical island with its vast bio-diversity and fusion of Eastern cuisine.
