KBWCAE to be held next year
Japan Overseas Cooperative Association (JOCA) would like to invite
children to submit entries of their artwork to the 17th Kanagawa
Biennial World Children's Art Exhibition (KBWCAE) which will be held in
July 13.
Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan strated the Kanagawa Biennial Exhibition
in 1979 during the United Nations (UN) International Year of the Child.
Its goal is to promote 'people-to-people diplomacy.'
Director, Kanagawa Plaza for Global Citizenship, Kunihiro ABE stated
that they are proud to say that they have been holding this biennial
exhibition for 33 years aiming to cultivate children's dreams and
creativity, and also to help them appreciate each other's cultural
differences through artwork. The previous 16th exhibition in 2011 was a
great success with 22,433 entries from 77 countries/regions.
Closing date for the entries will be November 30. Applicants must be
between the ages of four and fifteen as of April 1,2012.
