President's College OBA six-a-side on Sept. 9

The Old Boys' Association of President's College, Sri Jayawardanepura will conduct their annual Old Boys' six-a-side cricket tournament on September 9 at the Mercantile Cricket Association grounds, Colombo.

The tournament is known to be one of the pioneering schools Old Boys' six-a-side tournament playing for the Lt. Col. Nalin Cooray Memorial Shield as a tribute to one of the school's distinguished Old Boy who did supreme sacrifice in saving motherland.

Altogether 16 teams will battle it out and some of the national level cricketers produced by the President's College are also expected to take part in this year's tournament.

Present school Principal Sarath Siriwardane will be the chief guest the opening ceremony and schools' first Deputy Principal and Managing Director of Gateway International School, Rohini Alles will be the chief guest at the award ceremony.
