Bohra Premier League at Bloomfield

The third consecutive Bohra Premier League 2012 (BPL), organized by the Bohra Sports Club for the third consecutive year, will be held on September 8 and 9 at the Bloomfield Grounds.

Based on the format of the Indian Premier League, the BPL teams are owned by business entities in the Bohra community. The teams that will battle in the tournament are ALS Warriors (captained by Mustafa Hassanally Jeewajee), Avalon Eagles (captained by Juzer Noordeen), Ekco Trio (captained by Hussain Mansoor), KD Challengers (captained by Huzefa Hussain), Royal Stallions (captained by Ali Asgar Abdeali) and Super Kings (captained by Shabbir Mohammed Hussain).

Last year' s winners, Royal Stallions, will be looking forward to repeat their performances while the Avalon Eagles, Ekco Trio and Kd Challengers are all set to get their revenge.

Two new sensational teams have been added to the mix, the ALS Avengers and Super Kings. Teams have also been shuffled in order to encourage fairer play and a renewed sense of drama to the game.

Cargills Ceylon PLC and Saifi Trading Company will be the principal sponsors of the tournament while the travel partner will be MSA Travels and Tours Pvt Ltd.
