Sierra Global Network ties up with Think Green

A leading infrastructure development and managed services firm in Sri Lanka Sierra Global Network Private Ltd ties up with Think Green a licenced company approved by the Central Environment Authority for pioneering in providing safe and reliable electronic waste management services in Sri Lanka.

Head of Marketing Think Green Sivahar Muthuramalingam said that Think Green is the first in the sector to launch the e-waste program which will be implemented in 27 regional offices around the country.

"We have to change our perception towards electronic when we dispose them to give a healthy environment to our next generation through our thoughts and action" he said.

Dr Arosha Fernando CEO Sierra Global said due to ongoing technological advancement many electronic products become obsolete within a very short period creating a large surplus of unwanted electronic products.

As disposing of e-waste in landfills has the potential to cause severe human and environmental health impacts he requested the suppliers of telecom sector to cultivate greener habits and help to save the planet ensuring their electronics are recycled in an environment friendly manner.
