Bridge across Kambiyaru

A bridge across the Kambiyaru in the Western front of Batticaloa will be constructed at a cost of Rs 35 million.

The foundation stone for the project was laid on Monday with the participation of Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Resettlement Deputy Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan, Child Development and Women's Affairs Deputy Minister M .L. A .M . Hizbullah and Former Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesadurai Chandrakanthan.
